A platform open to players, publishers and developers
The service connects to the most popular digital game stores, allowing gamers to take their game libraries with them. This includes new releases and hit titles such as Control (coming soon), Fallout 76, Fortnite, The Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and World of Tanks. This will allow gamers to play the games they already own on all of their devices - PC, Mac, and SHIELD - and other platforms to come later this year.
The brand already supports more than 500 games, with compatibility for thousands more, and seeks to bring users even more games, even before they are officially part of the library.
Because games are purchased from digital stores, gamers can still download and play locally - a second purchase is not necessary to play them in the cloud with GeForce NOW. It also means that developers do not need to develop their games on a new platform, nor to offer a new business model to their publishers.
