Giants Editor 10 is out: Kick-off for creating and converting mods to Farming Simulator 25

The Giants Editor, the mod development tool, is finally available in version 10. It is dedicated to the new Farming Simulator 25. We warn you right away, even if the editor has only a few changes in appearance, the way of approaching mods is very different, whether for vehicles or for maps.

It is always via the Giants Developper Network portal, the GDN, that you must retrieve the latest version of the software. The export modules in i3D format for Blender and Maya as well as the TestRunner program to test a mod before sending it to the modhub are also available. In short, the budding modder's panoply is complete.

At the moment, Giants Editor 10 does not have a conversion module. You will either have to be patient or go through the mods one by one to perform the sometimes lengthy conversion of each mod.

Giants Software also provides a PDF to help you understand the new texture system, which allows you to integrate rain effects and provides a few additional variables to further enhance the realism of vehicle rendering.
