Total change in size, we tested a few hours ago the German Minibrunn map. We stay in the country but with a maxi card drawn from a real environment and on a 1: 1 scale: Hohen Luckow.
Grandiose
I can never have enough superlatives to describe this card. Huge, each field has several hectares to cultivate. In the center of the map, a small village grouping together a house, points of sale and breeding. The livestock buildings are also already placed and frozen. They integrate fixed animals and are accompanied by plots to display the new animals purchased. By the way, a somewhat annoying bug prevented me from buying horses, causing the game to crash. Large plots but also large buildings, the farm of 1000 cows is not very far. I advise you to activate the developer mod to be able to display with F4 and F5 the triggers on the ground because it can be very complicated to find where to unload food or even the trigger of the animal menus.
When starting a game in new farmer mode, you already have 10 plots, and large vehicles. This will be quite sufficient for ordinary people since only one of them already requires several hours of work. The creator of the map provides a zip to unzip. It contains the map of course, but also the growthcontrol.xml that must be placed in your backup directory. It allows ONCE THE GROWTH CONTROL MOD installed to extend the growth time of crops to allow time for players to manage these plots. The map is seasons mod compatible but be careful, you cannot use Growth Control AND the seasons mod at the same time. We will have to make a choice.
Essential mods
Speaking of additional mods, we can only advise you to add the CoursePlay if you are playing solo as the base workers are not comfortable with field cuts. Better, why not install the teleportation mod ? The platinum DLC will also be a good companion, bringing you its fair share of powerful machines and big tools.
3 new cultures
Finally you will find on Hohen Luckow, the possibility of cultivating 3 new crops: rye, triticale and clover.
