The Trelleborg team cannot be stopped it seems. This weekend at the Zurich Game Show 2019, the team once again took first place in the Farming Simulator League tournament, the third consecutive victory.
Their first match in the final was against John Deere, a narrow victory with a score of 664-594. They then faced Komatsu Forest, a team that had defeated Amazon earlier in the day. After a fierce struggle, they won the 646-595 victory and ended up in the final against the Krone team.
Krone opened their final match against Team Lindner. A match that the green and yellow team won. They then showed their ball stacking skills against Team Grimme and secured their spot in the final against Trelleborg.
The final takes place in 3 matches (or 2 winning matches). After a quick first match where Krone won thanks to the Rush technique (they seized the 4 presses), Trelleborg resisted the second match with a victory of 844: 614. The third match of final was tense…. wrought up. But the precision in preparing the bales for loading into the Trelleborg team's conveyor made the difference, as the tire maker's team did not deflate and finished with a score of 3 to 644. Felix Hasenberger, Lukas Bauer and Simon Hollweck therefore won their third FSL victory, leaving with a check for € 534, € 2 in Logitech G equipment and a € 000 Nitrado voucher.
To watch the final in English, it's here.
The Rush technique should no longer be possible, at least easily achievable, following the recent update of the tournament rules (see our article). And yet, the Krone team managed twice, and in the final, to place this dazzling tactic. Like what, regardless of the changes, the teams know how to adapt. In use, we will have finally noticed little of the other changes in the rules of the game (speed of bridges, etc.)
