This weekend took place the Herofest, a fair dedicated to entertainment, manga, video games, in Switzerland in Bern. A round of the FSL tournament was taking place there with, once again, its share of surprises.
The predictions on Twitter were going well. Trellebord, John Deere, the names of these 2 finalists came up regularly, without knowing who was going to win. Sunday's quarter-finals have started without leaving any doubt as to their outcomes. Trellebord won the first match without surprise against Amazon, then JZD came to strike down the Burning Gamers team, 701 to 364. The third match was going to be decisive. Who from John Deere or Landeier would undoubtedly tickle Trelleborg in the final? It is John Deere who will win in an extremely close match which will be played with a simple straw box: 3 to 800!
The fourth game will surprise us, with a victory for Claas, a team that is gaining strength, slowly but surely, against Lindner, who we don't see much playing anymore. Claas finally shows that the team is capable of getting a score: 4 points.
In the semifinals, JZD was surprised by Trelleborg, who deposited a large quantity of grain early on. Blocking the multiplier of points at 2,5 (against 1,5 for the Czechs). JZD will be unable to take the point, the match ends with a victory for Trelleborg: 618 to 310. Claas will then be taken out by John Deere in a very classic match where everyone has gone to fill their barn.
For the final, the Best-of-3 will start with a Rush from Trelleborg. A technique that is becoming difficult to implement, and yet. The pressure mounted for John Deere, but for the second match Trelleborg made several fails (several losses of time with waiting without balls in front of the barn, a tractor overturned for several seconds…) leaving the victory to the competitor. The third match was decisive and will bring us back to the last match of Paris Games Week. Two teams neck and neck until the last second. Result: 3 to 652… for John Deere!
The Greens win their 2nd gold medal. The general classification remains unchanged. Trelleborg in the lead with 550 points, followed by John Deere with 480 points. There are still 5 dates to decide between the 2 teams. Meet up after the end of year celebrations at the Dreamhack in Leipzig, Germany.
