It is in a short post on the Farming Simulator blog that Giants Software unveils 3 new images, in addition of those unveiled the day before yesterday, from Elmcreek, one of the 2 new maps for FS 22. These new screenshots show us that there is indeed a slight improvement on the general rendering and on the density of the vegetation.
Elmcreek is inspired by the American Midwest region and offers large fields and vast open spaces on which to build your farms. Expect to discover many fields of varying shapes and sizes, marking the end of rectangular plots, hopefully.
You can see rivers that cut their way through the terrain, underpasses in hilly areas, and a rather interesting clipping distance that reveals vegetation over a long distance. The map is still in development and will undoubtedly be more visually loaded on the final version.
