It is not one but two updates that have just been added to Fishing North Atlantic, the magnificent sequel to Fishing Barents Sea. In addition to the corrections following various comments from the community, the developers have migrated to the latest version of Unreal Engine 2, making it possible to announce a performance gain and visual improvements. According to our first tests, the gain is interesting on the most modest configurations (a few scratched FPS) but imperceptible on a large PC.
Regarding the gameplay improvements, the fishing seasons have been revised, so that you will no longer get species of fish out of their season, this will avoid filling your gear with fish that you are not allowed to catch. . There are also some season length adjustments for the prices of snow crab, tuna and other species.
You'll also find a new location dedicated to the crew to prepare the bait, which should solve most of the issues with setting up snow crab and lobster traps.
