Released on May 25 on all platforms, King of Seas is an action-RPG that puts you in the shoes of a young pirate in spite of himself, sued for the murder of his father, the king. From there, you will change your life, going from the son of a king, to a simple pirate.
The player operates in a procedurally generated world. The plot leaves room for many dialogues, sometimes a little long and complex, but you will never get off your boat strictly speaking. You will go in search of treasures, lost islands, and will have to face other pirates in well orchestrated battles. The good-natured graphics rendering makes King of Seas a fun game to watch. The playability and the ease of controls make it a quick title to learn, accessible to all.
The RPG side is given by a series of quests that guides you along your journey. For the rest, it is of course action that will be necessary and even sometimes a little strategy. The navigation takes into account the climatic hazards and you are not immune to falling in thick fog, increasing the difficulty a little.
Finally, as you progress, you can customize your boat but also add skills (up to 20) to become the king of piracy.
For PC players, the game is available on Steam under the 30 euros mark.
