Available now, this 1.9 update for FS 22 allows you to store hay bales and pallets of all sizes and shapes, thanks to a new storage building. And that's not all: a new graphics option, "Screenspace Shading Rate", also improves your gaming experience.
The "Screenspace Shading Rate" is a new graphics option that improves the graphics performance of the game by adjusting the resolution of the light calculated by the computer in real time.
Concretely, this means that the darkest and brightest areas of the game are less detailed, in order to relieve the calculation load of the computer and thus improve the overall performance of the game. This option is particularly useful for players who use less efficient configurations, and which encounter problems of slowdown or jerks.
This update also prepares the arrival of the Göweil Pack, scheduled for March 21. But rest assured, the improvements made in this patch are for all players, including those who do not have the Göweil Pack.
So all players, but especially those on consoles, will benefit from the new storage building. There won't really be any more problem of limiting the number of balls and pallets in a game since the building will be seen as a single object rather than as an object + X balls/pallets.
It is important to note that as with all major updates to Farming Simulator, you may experience performance issues when launching the game for the first time after the update. This is due in particular to the recompilation of shaders, which can affect mods and custom graphics settings.
Other changes introduced by this patch include the possibility of transporting the RTM with silage trailers, as well as bug fixes and visual improvements on certain vehicles in the game, such as the Claas XERION, the John Deere 6R or again the Manitou MLT 625.
Finally, this update also offers more flexibility to modders, with the possibility of supporting up to 64 types of fruit in the maps.
