Many players already use it since it is compatible with countless games. I'm talking about the module Reshade developed by programmer patrick mours. This extension, which serves to enhance our software library, is of course compatible with Farming Simulator 17 (and 15 as well). Let's take a closer look.
Who has not dreamed of putting the graphics settings of our favorite agricultural simulation in Ultra and imagining for a few moments what will look like? Farming Simulator 19 on its config? If your powerful PC doesn't lose sight of the 60 fps needed for smooth imaging, then the ReShade module should be of interest to you. This extension, to be unzipped in the game's installation directory, injects post-processing shaders, the same (well almost) that make FS 19 a game that will blow your mind.
Bloom, Lens Flare, HDR, Ambient Occlusion (MXAO), Anti Aliasing (SMAA), all that's missing is depth of field to tickle the list of effects announced by Giants Software on the next version. The only downside is a demand for additional power and, for some, instability in the game. This is the very thing that means that I do not use ReShade SweetFX on a daily basis on my game installations.
Before / After makeup
The before / after is striking. More realistic shadows on the angles, more marked contrasts, the glare of the headlights, once tested it is very difficult to go back as the original graphics seem bland to us. See for yourself in this little gallery.
