Still in early access, The Bus enters a new phase

The title of TML Studio, published by Aerosoft, continues its path. The developers published two videos a few weeks ago which open up several topics: a new bus selection menu, the arrival of the eCitaro, modding tools, multiplayer, and even new lines.

Scheduled for December, the next update will mark the entry of the game into the world of modding. Mathias Hühscher, lead programmer at TML, indicates that it will be possible to create complete and bus maps, via the game editor under Unreal Engine 4. Of course, "Not everything will be done with the snap of a finger", as Fabian Boulegue, of Aerosoft, points out, and a special version of the Unreal Editor should see the light of day for the occasion, like its competitor Bus Simulator. Of the AI-controlled buses of the game will also make their arrival… as well as trams. An economy mode (solo) will allow you to create your bus company, buy buses and hire staff. It will then be necessary to generate income through the sale of tickets.

When entering this “Phase 2” of Early Access, Aerosoft foresees a small increase in the price of the game (currently €25,95 on Steam). “It will only be a few euros” warns Aerosoft. "The game will remain at this price for a few weeks after the phase 2 update, it's time to get your license adds Mathias.

Especially since The Bus has been a very supported game since its beginnings, and TLM is already talking about an update pahse 3 for February/March 2023, in which the famous 200 line will be further extended, then of a new line, the 245 , in April. the multiplayer is also on the new list! This will be an opportunity to get to grips with the new VDL buses, already familiar to Fernbus or Tourist Bus Simulator players.
