Aerosoft released at the end of June, a title developed by the Turkish studio " Simula games »(Hard to make more explicit), which puts you in the shoes of a delivery man. Truck & Logistics Simulator is actually Transport Company Simulator, renamed to Delivery Simulator, then renamed one last time before its early access release on Steam.
After 3 years of development, at 3 (!), The game is finally perfectly playable, but don't expect the simulation of the century. We are in the presence of a small independent game, which, if it is sold a little expensive (20 € on Steam), gives us a certain pleasure, especially in multiplayer. TLS is also cross-platform for this game mode.
The title revolves around delivery missions, with around twenty vehicles available at dealerships. Graphically, the models and textures are outdated, and Unity's graphics engine catches up with the whole thing thanks to pretty cool lighting and postFX effects. The clouds have nothing to envy to those of FS 19. The physics are rather fun, and the Citroën Berlingo copy will become more efficient than a Subaru Impresa when it comes to drifting. On the other hand, braking with heavy weights must be anticipated so as not to end up in the background.
You must also avoid accidents because the damage is taken into account and will slow down your progress, unless you stop at the garage to repair. We can't really say that the game is realistic and worthy of a real simulation, but let's put things in their place, for a game developed by a very small studio, we launch a game willingly. The environment is not very large, moreover it is difficult to get an idea on this subject because the HUD only displays a close part of the map with the GPS track. There is no full PDA like in Farming Simulator. The developers tell us about 24 km².
We can tell that the game is still in development. Despite everything there are some good ideas and some functions are successful. One thinks in particular of the management of the clutch when playing the couple pedals + steering wheel. Some games should take the seed.
We will continue to keep you informed of major updates to Truck & Logistics Simulator. At least to support developers until the final PC release, scheduled for Q2 2021, at the same time as the console versions. For Android and iOS devices, V1 will arrive sometime in September 2020.
