The Gamescom live is over, and many questions were asked to the 2 developers of the StillAlive studio, Tomáš Novák and Julian Mautner. Even if the live had a few lags, the game did not have any and we stuck lots of eyebrows. Here are some points that we could see and hear ...
- We saw an Alexander Dennis bus with only one door in the front.
- The US city is teeming with details, it's just awesome
- The city is advertised as "gigantic"
- All the features of Bus Simulator 18 have been taken over and improved
- Pedestrians behave realistically and will run to cross if you accelerate in front of them
- We saw an IVECO brand bus
- Many brands will be in the catalog, without being told which ones
- There are electric buses and double-decker buses
- In multi or solo, you can exchange buses with other drivers and therefore change lines (solo, the AI will get on your bus to take over)
- The interior decorations of the buses are much more beautiful and detailed.
- The polygons budget has been significantly increased
- The developers did not want to confirm the arrival on the nextgen PS5 and Xbox Serie X consoles
- Bus Simulator 21 will be 4-player multiplayer, and maybe more
- The hardware configuration to run the game will be much the same as for Bus Simulator 18
- The ATH is completely revised and simpler / ergonomic
- Will we be able to refuel and wash our vehicle? The developers reply "we do not confirm this function"
- The city has a typical San Francisco architecture
- We can customize the buses and characters (much improved compared to BS 18)
- There may be contactless payment for the purchase of tickets by passengers
- Radios are always customizable and controllable on the bus
- In multi, an accompanying player will be able to sit rather than stand
- There will be a lot more missions than in BS 18
- A Sandbox mode should be present
You can also watch the live, in English, of GametechUK, which made a different presentation than that of the developers of the game.
