Workshop Simulator, from Polish developers Intermarum, arrived on our consoles and PCs on March 10th. It challenges players to craft and restore vintage toys, tools, furniture, and artwork using realistic tools and crafting techniques, set against the backdrop of family history.
Polish developer Intermarum has been bringing its Workshop Simulator title to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation since March 10. A true game of patience, the game offers an experience full of nostalgia and creativity centered on the restoration of objects by dismantling, cleaning, sanding and painting.
An authentic workshop
Hammers, drills, paintings and various machines are recreated with a good level of visual and physical detail. Workshop Simulator allows players to repair and refurbish more or less complex objects to give them a second life. The gameplay remains close to Car Mechanic Simulator, Model Builder, and other titles of the genre, with a “purchase/order, restore, sell” cycle that we are beginning to know well.
For Marcin Książek, creative and artistic director at Intermarum, "Restoring objects and toys is a difficult thing to capture in a video game, but we think we're pretty close with Workshop Simulator."
