The Turbo from the Breton manufacturer Rolland is a trailer which, in the field, has long proved its worth through its robustness and reliability. Used in agriculture but also in public works thanks to these numerous hull reinforcements, it arrives in Farming Simulator in 13,5m version3 . Take a look at this mod of the Rolland Turbo 135.
It's on the page of modder Jojo ETV, called " The Gaec of the Paturo“, That we could read a rant about the theft of mods by unscrupulous sites, like fs17.lt, which had appropriated version 1.0 of the trailer. Today in version 2.0, the tipper is back with some bug fixes (collision correction, forage harvester detection, and unloading), still developed by Jojo, with the participation of Apocalypse YT and the FaDaNax team.
So what about this mod. First of all, it is not free from bugs. The wheels do not quite touch the ground (good if you don't lie down on the ground, you can't see it), the modeling can be improved and has some display problems at the level of the boom, the cylinder during unloading is not properly attached to the dumpster, but all this does not prevent playing and the fun of this mod is elsewhere.
Already because it is a very widespread trailer in our Breton countryside (and undoubtedly elsewhere) and, knowing certain players who seek, in Farming Simulator, to recreate their farm, they will only be delighted to find their tool yellow and blue. The modeling, even if it is light, remains well done, taking again the many lateral reinforcements of the real model, and proposing the sides. And best of all, the textures, even if they are (too) pixelated, reveal dealer stickers (West Trailer) but also this little nod to Passion Céréales: “My trailer full of barley = 320000 glasses of beer” 🙂 A little originality doesn't hurt.
Still some improvements to see
Modelization
Physics and realism
The model still needs to be improved, nevertheless we can only welcome the approach of bringing this tipper in FS17, the manufacturer Rolland being little present in the modhub, this trailer is welcome to the catalog.
