Almost a year ago, it was October 2020, the Farmer's Life demo was released, a game published by PlayWay and developed by Freemind. He put you in the shoes of a 50s farmer who runs on grape juice. Many YouTubers have broken their teeth to discover the demo which had neither tail nor head, and which reduced the life of a farmer to a state of almost permanent drunkenness. Beautiful image of the profession. During May, it's a prologue that saw the light of day and which testifies to the imminent arrival of the game in final version.
Demo, prologue, same fight
The reviews are quite positive at the moment. The gameplay possibilities have been increased and it is possible to hunt, fish, or even cook. Because it is more of a survival game than a simulation. Bad weather will regularly destroy your habitat, which will need to be repaired. Managing hunger and thirst will force you to work your land to store some crops. You will be helped by your trusty steed and his monosoc plow to provide for your needs.
Boyfriend like pig
Speaking of animals, your main companion, just like in the demo, remains your pig (tattooed with a heart on the buttocks ...) who will guide you throughout your game and that you can ride ... provided you are drunk. Survival, yes, fun, too. The game is completely crazy at times (… 80% of the time?) And we feel that the developers wanted to offer a certain freedom of action in this title announced as “Open World”. But make no mistake, this isn't Read Dead Redemption 2.
We will keep an eye on this title and we will offer you a more in-depth test. Attention, we will have to be vigilant on the name of the game because Farmer's Life will soon be accompanied by a simulation, at the end of the year, which will bear the name of " Farmer Life Simulator"... and I'm not even talking to you about FarmingLife, also available for demo on Steam and which looks like a mobile version of Farm Manager. Pfiou! Ready to farm?
