PlayWay, which we know to be the publisher of the excellent Farm Manager 2018 and at least the glorious Farm Expert 2017, unveiled its new title a few days ago through a copiously plagiarized trailer: Farm & Fix 2020.
Developed by Simfabric, a Polish studio to which we owe in particular the continuity of the Farm Expert series (2018 and 2019 on mobile platforms and Nintendo Switch), the trailer suggests that the player's goal will be to renovate dilapidated farms and old vehicles in order to profit from them. The Steam sheet also speaks of a "Cultivation and harvest" part, always with the aim of making your portfolio prosper.
Unfortunately, all these themes have already been covered on other titles, such as the excellent Farmer's Dinasty for construction, and of course Farming Simulator for crops. Here is a game that may be difficult to place. The trailer already shows a lack of creativity, pumping here and there camera shots from the official trailer for the latest FS. In short, let's not immediately condemn this title even before having it in our hands. We might be surprised, Polish studios have more than one trick up their sleeve ...
