You discovered it at the beginning of May on the forum in the form of WIP, this time things will speed up. The Sulky Progress handset, which was also seen at Sima 2018, is being developed by the Simulagri Modding team.
The initial 3D, carried out in collaboration with the manufacturer's design office, included all the parts, and weighed on the scale no less than 7 million polygons. The conversion of the Creo file to 3DSMAX was particularly complex, it was a first for me. But we are finally there! Yesterday, 3D was reduced by more than 5 million polygons to reach "only" 1,4 million. The work can finally begin.
Un live was performed this afternoon to show you a little behind the scenes in the process of simplifying a 3D model. Under 3DSMAX, this is the method via the tool Polygon Cruncher (ProOptimizer in the software) which will be used for this planter. It should get you a reliable tool fairly quickly. In order to cut short the eternal question, due to lack of license from Giants Software, the Sulky Progress will be available on the official modhub for PC / MAC only.
And you, what do you think of this 3D achievement? Express yourself in comment (of the video or the article)
