Update 7, already available for several weeks on the Snowrunner test server, is coming in a few days. On the program, new map, new vehicle, new tool, and bug fixes.
The snowRunner updates follow one another at a good pace. So much so that we do not even have time to overcome the previous ones as the hours in front of the screen have decreased this summer. This 7th update will be available to everyone, but its content will be limited depending on the edition of the game owned. For the basic version, only bug fixes and new interior accessories (we finally have a little dog that moves its head to enhance our interior views!) Will be available. You will therefore need the premium edition or the season pass to benefit from the new Imandra map, the new TUZ 108 Warthog vehicle and the metal detector. The latter is only useful on the new map for a few missions.
When it comes to this new TUZ, you don't miss much. It is quite fun to drive but does not add anything to the gameplay. Lightweight, it really sneaks around at pretty high speeds (but watch out for damage). You will certainly find it in mod in a few days. The real shortfall if you don't have the premium edition or the season pass, is obviously the map.
Imandra, who also gives her name to Update 7, is insane! The difficulty level is high. Progress there is slow. You need to unlock the garage as a priority by carrying out the missions "Power plant broken down" and "Repair the electricity pylons". If it is really too difficult for you to find them, I refer you to the excellent site maprunner.info, on which you will find detailed map.
Finally, the update welcomes a new Trial activity, which we have not yet been able to test, and improvements to the level editor for modders.
