MotoGP 23: The new edition of the historic franchise will be available on June 8, 2023 on PlayStation5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
Fans of video games and motor sports will soon be able to discover the new features of MotoGP 23, which promises an even more immersive and realistic gaming experience than ever before.
A revamped career mode
MotoGP 23 career mode will be based on player performance and decisions. They will start at the end of the Moto3 season and can progress through the different classes depending on the results obtained. However, finding a contract will not be easy, because each of the teams will only have two slots and they will have to face the official drivers in order to take their place. The development of the motorcycle will also be important during the seasonal tests, through dedicated challenges that will accelerate their evolution.
Social in MotoGP, a first
Rivalries won't just be on the circuit this year, as for the first time in the series, MotoGP 23 will also feature a social network to interact with riders, teams and manufacturers. Thus, players will be able to make friends but also annoy their rivals. Depending on their interactions, other racers' AI will act differently during races.
Watch out for the rain
Two new features eagerly awaited by the community will take the simulation to the next level of realism. The first is dynamic weather which will require a lot of skill and strategy from players. The race will thus become a Flag-to-Flag race, with the possibility of returning to the garage in order to change vehicles to gain a strategic advantage. Advanced AI will finally bring more consistency to the behavior of riders on the circuit, in order to get as close as possible to their real driving style. Each will possess a unique personality that will directly affect their actions.
Accessibility becomes the key word(o)
In order to satisfy the needs of new players, but also of the most experienced, new driving aids for braking, acceleration and handling will be offered. This will provide a gaming experience that is both approachable and ambitious so that everyone, regardless of skill level, can experience the thrills of riding a MotoGP. The MotoGP Academy will come to help players in their learning of the basics or to perfect their style with the help of dedicated training sessions.
Multi becomes cross-play and local
The game will also offer many multiplayer options, both online and offline. For the first time, cross-play will be available to all players, regardless of platform, while the new Ranked Races mode will ensure even battles between racers of the same rank. 2-player local split-screen multiplayer lets you battle a friend right from the couch. Finally, the graphic editor of helmets, stickers, race numbers and badges present on the back of the pants will allow players to create a unique pilot.
