PC and console players should see a new update, the 4th, for Construction Simulator appear in the download queue. Along with a number of bug fixes and game improvements, this update introduces a dedicated screen to the assignment of tasks in the job planning section for multiplayer sessions, as well as significant improvements when using a bulldozer. Here are the detailed patch notes:
- Added a new dedicated task assignment screen in the job scheduling section
- New input actions (shortcuts) have been added for some functions that were only accessible via the radial menu
- Machines without flags no longer show UI flags
- Reduced memory load in different parts of the game to prevent crashes
- Improved scenario loading
- Numerous fixes for forklifts and cargo items in multiplayer
- Fixed numerous desynchronization issues in multiplayer
- Fixed CAT 745C spilling a lot of material when autofilling
- Fixed issues when creating a multiplayer game on PS4
- Fixed numerous issues that could cause soil to disappear or appear when digging or leveling with a bulldozer
- Improvements for leveling with a bulldozer:
- You can now use a bulldozer to push gravel and sand without wasting material.
- Soil resistance is now simulated. The bulldozer will slow down according to the amount pushed. The CAT D8T can push the most material to the ground at once, but does not have the ability to tilt its blade.
- Depending on the selected work perimeter, it is more difficult to level an area with a bulldozer.
- You can disable this behavior completely by using the "easy leveling" gameplay setting. If disabled, you will need to manually push all soil out of the area to be leveled. Otherwise, you can take it with chargers.
