Very active, the developers of the "ultimate fishing game" published a series of updates throughout the month of October. Back to the key points you might have missed.
Remember in early September I was posting a video preview of the VR variation from the famous fishing game from Ultimate Games. The experience was gripping but the whole needed to be fine-tuned. The BitGolem development team has worked in this direction, in addition to offering players a new, freshly released DLC.
A piranha fishing trip?
This is how it appeared last October 25 the Amazon River DLC. The Amazon - one of the longest rivers in the world - is home to many species of fairly aggressive fish such as piranhas. The river bed, which stretches for thousands of kilometers (in the game "a little" less), is winding. Many tree trunks and branches can be dangerous for your boat. This is why, in this DLC, you will be able to leave with a new flat-bottomed motor boat, which allows you to quickly move between your favorite places. In the Amazon, you will have the opportunity to catch catfish, piranhas or cichlids. However, real monsters like Arapaima, Payara, and Electric Eel await the bravest anglers.
The best VR fishing experience
With each update, the changelog contains one to several lines concerning the VR experience. Since the beginning of September, the game has come a long way. Here are the latest improvements notable :
- Big improvement in graphics performance compared to the first version!

- When pausing in VR, the menu now rotates in the direction of the head.
- Added support for left and right handed players.
- Fixed missing pointer at start.
- Added the option to activate the quick menu on touch controllers in SteamVR by pressing the right thumb.
- Added options to change the rotation speed of controllers.
