The patch 1.2 expected by the players since the release of the game is finally in the pipes. It fixes a long list of bugs, brings 16 new vehicles and new features.
The wait was long but it is for your good when some players were still struggling to launch the game, Giants Sofware has just released patch 1.2 for Farming Simulator 22. The update is done by itself on the Steam versions as for the Giants or console versions and weighs just over 2 GB on the scale. 16 new vehicles to push the pill
The last Factsheets Friday showing in particular the Vervaet self-propelled spreader were in fact a discreet announcement of this update 1.2. 16 new machines are now integrated as standard:

But vehicles aren't the only ones, and Giants Software is also adding a few placeable items like a mobile home or an old barn. A lesser evil to pass the pill among players dissatisfied with the game since its release. Fortunately for them, the patch changes the game and stabilizes Farming Simulator 22 very clearly, whether for multiplayer or single player. Here is the list of the bugs concerned and corrected, you have inevitably already encountered some:
- Fixed contracts: some missions did not start with the correct material
- Adjusted prices for the sale of used vehicles
- Adjusted repair costs (YES !!! No more big bills)
- The seed drill markers no more stones
- Display changed for day numbering
- Changed display of price fluctuations table, so that it shows the actual price history of the last 12 months
- Fixed an AI issue where workers now know how to turn plows the right way
- Fixed an issue where machines rented for a contract would disappear when accepted
- Fixed an issue where picking up items as a Client in a multiplayer match could cause the game to crash
- Fixed an issue where playing with a custom season length could result in weather forecast or undefined rain / snow issues
- Fixed an issue where some contracts could not be completed (the infamous Harvest Missions stuck at 80%)
- Fixed an issue where a worker would get paid continuously even if the game was paused
- Fixed an issue where the game would not start on some Intel GPUs
- Fixed an issue where using DLSS could lead to "ghost" artifacts (in principle corrected with the latest nVidia drivers)
- Fixed an issue where using DLSS on supported cards could result in a black screen
- Fixed an issue where using Big Bag lifting tool completely crashed the game
- Fixed an issue where vehicles were duplicated when resetting
- Fixed an issue with animals running around the area when they shouldn't (Oh boy, we won't see pigs running around anymore !!)
- Fixed an issue with map filter overlays displaying the statuses "Need Plow" and "Need Lime" incorrectly
- Placables of the "generator" type give a fixed monthly rather than annual income.
- Fixed issues with emptying bunker silos
- Correction of Interest Rates on Full Year Loans
- Correction of the manure pile and the extension of the manure pile, they now work as expected (previously you had to use the extension and not the manure)
- Fixed collectibles resetting after they've all been collected (oh damn, easy more money!)
- Fixed Rostselmash Nova harvester spill effect
- Correction of seed rate when sowing grass
- Corrections to selling prices and price fluctuations
- Field corrections on the Elmcreek map
- Fixed the back paddle buttons on the Logitech G920 not mapped correctly on Xbox
- Correction of tree growth
- Fixed various issues with manual transmission tractors
- Improved combine cutter bars on sloping ground
- Improved loading of cotton bales
- Improved driving behavior of multi-axle trucks
- Improved handling and performance of pallets
- Improved in-game help texts
- Reduced AI labor costs
- Fixed the unloading of balls on the Arcusin Multipack D14
New features welcome
Bug fixing is one thing, but adding community requested features is another. Giants Software meets some expectations with update 1.2. Here are the gameplay changes this update brings:
- Added ability to zoom ModHub screenshots when viewing mod details
- Added the ability to remove farms from the Elmcreek map
- Added AI support for reverse drive tractors (Vario 900 and Valmet 8750)
- Addition of mobile home placeable
- Adding a old barn placeable
- Added an option for the free placement placeable objects (the equivalent of the “Place Anywhere” mod)
- Addition of an option for a higher fuel consumption
- Added option to place parallel vines and olives
- Addition of information "yield potential" and "weeding tool recommendation" on the field info window.
- License plate on Erlengrat now fully customizable
Uncorrected bugs
There are still some known bugs, such as some trees that flicker (no, they are not Christmas trees) when you move away from them, crashes when cutting a tree, or worries about contracts. But that will be the subject of another update later in early 2022.
