Bard, the generative AI of Google inspired by ChatGPT, is continuously improving by offering several improvements. Now, Google Bard is able to speak dozens of languages and respond to user queries containing images.
In the global competition of artificial intelligence, chatbots must constantly evolve to offer novelties and stay ahead of the race. Google Bard was announced a few months ago to compete with Chat GPT, the famous conversational agent of OpenAI. Since then, the Mountain View giant has regularly deployed updates to improve it. Thus, Bard now introduces several new features aimed at making interactions more natural and human.
Google's chatbot is now able to offer speech synthesis in more than 40 languages, which is particularly useful for hearing the correct pronunciation of a word or listening to a poem or text.
Separately, Google has also introduced image support in Bard. This new feature is already available in English and will soon be extended to other languages. It allows users to add images to their queries. At Google I/O 2023, this feature was first demonstrated with the example of a user sharing a photo of two dogs and asking Bard for fun caption ideas for it.
Bard also has other features, including the ability to pin and rename conversations, and share chatbot responses with embed links.
